Single tooth Implant
Instead of recommending a three-unit fixed bridge to replace a single missing tooth, we highly recommending a single implant-supported crown treatment modality, for several reasons:
- Cleansibility: The replaced tooth will not be connected to adjacent teeth, offering patients better access for brushing and flossing ,
- Less invasiveness: Adjacent teeth are not being ground down to utitilize as support, lessing the chace for them to get recurrent deays,
- Long-term success: Dental implants have long been studied and documented that their 10 year survival rate is around 95%, whereas that for fixed bridges is significantly shorter.
