Routine Extraction:
When the tooth or teeth are broken or damaged beyond the point of restoration, extraction will ensue.
Routine extraction involve the removal of the heavily danamged tooth or teeth, using extraction forceps, often without the involvement of cutting and reflecting of soft and hard tissues.
Local anesthesia is given to ensure patient’s comfort for the procedure. Suturing of surgical site is often not required or needed. Post-surgical instruction will be given to the patient, as well any any necessary prescription for analgesic and/or antibiotic.
